3D printing, CAD, and CNC services in Brisbane

FDM and SLA 3D printing, CAD design and modelling, and CNC prototyping — all in-house. Every part is dimensionally inspected before it ships.

Additive · FDM

FDM — Fused Deposition Modelling

Melted thermoplastic laid down layer by layer. FDM is the workhorse for functional parts, prototypes, moulds, and jigs — strong, economical, and quick to iterate. Choose it when the part has to do a job rather than sit on a shelf, and when size or engineering plastics matter more than the finest surface detail.

Capabilities

  • Materials PLA, PETG, TPU, PC, ASA, ABS, and Fiber Reinforced.
  • Post-processing Support removal and cleanup included.
  • Best for Functional parts, prototypes, moulds, and jigs.

Additive · Resin

SLA — Stereolithography

Liquid resin cured with light, layer by layer, for fine detail and smooth surfaces. Choose SLA when the part is small and intricate, or when appearance is the point — presentation models, jewellery patterns for casting, and medical models where crisp features and a clean finish matter more than raw toughness.

Capabilities

  • Resins Standard, Water-washable, ABS-like, and Tough.
  • Post-processing UV post-cure and IPA wash included.
  • Best for Presentation models, small intricate parts, jewellery casting, and medical models.

Design · CAD

CAD — Design & Modelling

Parametric modelling and engineering drawings, built in NX Siemens and Fusion 360. Start from a sketch, a photo, rough dimensions, or a description — we turn it into a manufacturable model with a design-for-manufacture review included. Choose CAD when the part doesn't exist as a file yet, or when an existing model needs cleaning up for production.

Capabilities

  • Tools NX Siemens and Fusion 360.
  • You receive Native CAD, STEP/IGES/STL/DXF/OBJ exports, engineering drawings, and a DFM review.
  • Input accepted Sketches, photos, dimensions, or a description.

Subtractive · CNC

CNC — Machined Prototyping

Material removed from solid stock for prototypes in metals and engineering plastics, at tighter tolerances than additive can reach. Toolpaths are generated from CAD in-house, and CNC pairs well with printing in hybrid FDM + CNC workflows. Because results depend heavily on geometry and material, get in touch and we'll advise on the specifics.

Capabilities

  • Materials Metals and engineering plastics.
  • Workflow CAD-to-toolpath in-house; hybrid FDM + CNC available.
  • Best for Tighter tolerances than additive — contact us for specific geometry and material.

† Achievable tolerance; varies with geometry, material, and part size. CNC figures are verified on a coordinate-measuring machine (CMM).
